Top 5 Dining and Restaurants Apps on iOS in Egypt Q2 2023

The second quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 dining and restaurant apps on the iOS platform in Egypt. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides valuable insights into weekly downloads and active users for these apps.

McDonald’s - Non-US experienced significant fluctuations in its weekly downloads. Starting at 3.4K in late March, the app saw a peak in weekly downloads at 9.6K by the end of June. Active users also showed notable variation, with a high of approximately 98.4K in mid-April and another peak at 95.1K by the end of June.

COFE, on the other hand, had a dramatic spike in downloads in early May, reaching about 34.6K. However, this was followed by a steep decline, with weekly downloads dropping to around 233 by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 30.5K in early May before decreasing to around 2.7K by late June.

KFC Egypt - Order Food Online maintained a relatively stable download rate, with numbers ranging from 3.2K to 4.4K throughout the quarter. Active users saw a slight upward trend, starting at 14.5K in late March and reaching approximately 16.1K by the end of June.

Buffalo Burger showed a distinctive pattern in its downloads. The app started with modest numbers, around 226 in late March, but experienced a notable surge to 4.1K in mid-June. This growth was followed by a drop to 1.7K in the subsequent week, before recovering to 3.2K by the end of June.

Lastly, Pizza Hut Egypt-Order Food Now displayed relatively consistent download numbers, ranging from 648 to 1.6K throughout the quarter.
